The strength of Krakow lies in the large academic community, good education of residents, and graduates of Krakow universities. In the „Investment Report 2019: Thriving Metropolitan Cities”, Krakow took 3rd place in Europe, behind London and Warsaw regarding the “Share of population with higher education”.

Every year in Krakow, approximately 50,000 students graduate. 13 thousand are graduates of technical faculties. The largest number of graduates of Krakow universities are specialists in finance, linguistics, and IT.

Gateway to Europe

Europe is easier to access from Krakow than ever. The city is located close to the geographical centre of the continent.

Krakow is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in the EU with an excellent road and air network. You can reach most areas of Europe within a few hours by direct and affordable flights which would take around two hours. In 2019, almost 8.5 million passengers traveled through Kraków Airport.
